It might also have been in the fine print of the contract of the clinic. Kind of an "in the event" type scenario. Might also have been that the only relatives she had tracked me down and either requested i take custody (in the case of grandparents with failng health), or threatened a paternity suit (because they didn't want a(nother) kid). --Notsooldpervert (talk) 05:44, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

You would be legally defended against the paternity suit. As for the other suggestion, that's something that is just not relevant enough to include as an alternative. It is just slightly different for the backstory and doesn't change the dynamic enough to matter with all these options and variables to keep track of. Jemini (talk) 15:24, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

I was just presenting the most likely scenarios where i would have been tracked down. There's also the possibility that the mother left a will naming the biological father as legal guardian like a god parent. I agree, unlikely, but possible. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 15:54, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
