By the time Arcanine's knot had deflated and he was able to remove himself from Ninetails, Vulpix had drifted off to sleep.

"I do good, mama?" Arcanine asked, his tail swishing back and forth.

"Yes, you did just as mama wanted." Espeon replied. She had since returned to her normal form and took a seat next to Vulpix. Once Arcanine had backed away from Ninetails, she took up and approached her. She was starting to return to her normal form as well, though her lower half was still covered in jizz.

"I should be a lot angrier at you." Ninetails said, his mind back to relative normality. "I've forgotten what this feels like."

"You're welcome." Espeon replied.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it." He admitted. "I guess I... I don't know, I let the loss of my wife get the better of me for so long."

"I'm sure she found a good Trainer. Many of them are."

"I think it's best if I start to move on." Ninetails whispered, looking over at Vulpix. Arcanine curled up next to him. "It's not right to deprive him of a mother."

"You know, I make a rather good mother." Espeon said, nuzzling up next to him. "Or father, or whatever you need me to be."

"Heh, I guess you do." Ninetails took a deep breath before he asked the next question. "Umm... wou-would you like to be my mate?"

"Of course I would." Espeon replied. "I actually enjoyed myself tonight, and of course, the cubs need a full parentage, too."

"Yeah... yeah they do." Ninetails mumbled. The two curled up into a ball next to each other. Espeon smiled to herself and nestled her head on top of his, and allowed herself to drift off to sleep.
