The Story of Hanna/Chapter I - Interrogation - Swear Honesty
"It's true", you say. "I swear in the name of divine, every word I said is true. He also told me that they're also after me."
Robert lets out a short, unexpected laugh. "And why would they want anything to do with you?"
"They want me because of who I am."
Robert's unconvinced eyes scare you. You fear he may lash out at any moment. He stays still and hands out his judgment. "Truth be told, I know of Chad's history with Chaos, and I don't really believe he would've told you either. He's not one to talk about his past…" He's clearly thinking about this deeply, which is at least somewhat reassuring to you. "But the fact remains that even if everything you said is true, you still shouldn't trust anyone other than me, or anything that is not processed through me. You also should've consulted me about this first hand and not tried to escape with him. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes… I understand my mistake… I will accept any punishment for this…" You're relieved that it worked out.
"To be honest with you, I have a lot to think about." Robert looks slightly dissatisfied, but at least he seems calm. "I feel like I have to punish you for what you did, but since there is a chance that you're being honest, and since I'm happy with you being honest, I will be saving it for later. But should your story be revealed to be bogus later, there will be hell to pay."
You couldn't be happier to hear those words. "Thank you so much for your forgiveness…"
"Don't think you're off the hook though, okay?" He picks up the key from the wall, helping you down from the chains. Comfortably at ground level, you finally get to relax. "Give me your hand", he tells you, and you oblige. He hands you out the ring he took from you, and then, he walks towards the door, opening it. "Let's go to sleep - "
And then, before he even manages to finish his sentence, something knocks him out. Your eyes meet, and the identity of this man is revealed as Leon immediately, and he just used black spatial magic on Robert. As his body hits the floor, Dusty begins to bark and pull on the chain. "Well, that was unnecessary", you say, with a wide smile on your face. "Thank you for coming for Hanna, though."
"Yeah, no problem. I'm getting paid to protect your ass." Leon turns towards the noisy dog. "Should I kill that noisy dog?"
"Dusty! Bad dog!" you yell, and the dog stops immediately. "Sit!" Dusty follows your orders, and lets you come close to him. "Good boy. Stay still." You release him from him chains and give him a good hug. "Sit and stay here."
"Oh, he looks reliable and well-trained", Leon says. "In any case, we're getting the hell out of here. Are you okay?"
"Yes!" you say. "Thank you so much!"
"No problem. It should be easy to escape while the guards are distracted."
You tilt your head. "Distracted?"
Leon nods. "They're here. Just like Chad feared."
You don't even have to be told. You understand what's up. Chaos is here, and they really are after you.
"We're leaving the moment we get a chance. We can't let ourselves get caught now."
