You walk up to the closest guard you see, and he is quick to realize that you have your eyes set on him. He does not say a word, nor does he even smile. In fact, he's not even interested in looking at your body. This man is clearly not sexually interested in you, or perhaps he's just so used to what he sees that his libido has dried off completely.

"Can you help Hanna?"

"Depends", he says with an empty look on his face. "What do you need?"

"Someone to show Hanna around."

"Oh, you're new here?" he asks. "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we are not allowed to spend time with you girls. We have actual work to do."

"Is helping not work then?"

"Of course it's our job to help you if needed, but exploring this place is something you can do yourself", he explains, turning fully towards you. "I'm going to teach you a little analogy, Hanna, if that even is your name. Think of yourself as a sheep in a farm, the kind where outsiders can actually visit as well. You can do whatever you want with these sheep, like play around and go anywhere within the perimeters of the fence. People come and go, and they watch you, they pet you and they play with you, but in the end, you've got autonomy over your actions as long as you're within the fence. Every now and then a shepherd comes with his dog to move you to your barn for a night, or to be shed for your wool, or milked for your milk, or to feed you, or maybe even to make a meal out of you, but that's where your interactions with them end. I am the shepherd, and I only come for you for things that I actually need you for."

You're left speechless, so you just feign a smile and divert your gaze. He just compared you to a farm animal, and the worst of all, his analogy made sense.

"I recommend you talk to one of the girls", he finally says. "It's still early, so most of them have nothing to do. Don't bother anyone who's sleeping though."

Well, of course you're not going to do that. They're probably exhausted. Besides, there are plenty of girls who are on their feet, talking to each other or simply just wasting time. It brings you to the previous question about what you should do. Will you…
