Uncle Dave/Read a comic
"Come here girl, I'll read you a comic" You take one of her books nearby (some story about a prince rescuing the princess) and sit in the middle of the living room. There you can be seen by every one and this is your proof to yourself that your are keeping your promise. Except of course that you are currently alone with Jennifer who comes and jumps on your lap.
She suddenly deel a rise of tension, very unsettling for her. She looks at you surprised and puzzled: she is used to jump on the lap of who reads her a story and nobody ever reacted this way before. She looks in your eyes, scared that she could have done something wrong.
You, tense as struck by lightning, the situation does not go any better when her adorable little face turns to you and her eyes and her mouth is barely a few inches away from your face. You too can feel the tension in her body and her breath softly on your face. She is still puzzled, her eyes wide opened, but you feel her body starting to relax a bit on your leg as she realizes you are not about to scold her. She turns to the book and replaces herself on top of your lap next to a suspicious hump.
