I would like your permission to change the names of the characters in Invasion!/Winterkin to descriptive names. A telepathic race would not have names that were arbitrarily linked syllables like a race that has a spoken language. As such they would likely have names that were connected concepts that would be translated into spoken language as meaningful phrases, much like some Native American names. Here are the name changes that I am suggesting:
- Tandrig = Frostmaw (The frosted maw biting deeply into the dying stag)
- Sofrig = Softpaw (The soft paw does not alert the sleeping prey)
- Tarjurg = Redfangs (The red fangs drip the blood of the successful hunt)
- Wirlig = Winddancer (He dances with the wind as his partner)
- Yomelg = Iceshadow (The iceshadow [reflection] shows the though of the self)

Hey, it has been a while since I've seen you around. I'm honestly unsure if you are even on anymore.
Anyway, this is in regards to the Disciplinary Action story that you started and I joined in on. I have been progressing it quite a bit, and have been working with MrPib to add some characters to the roster. With his help, a cohesive image for the town is starting to come together a little. However, at the same time, there are also some existing characters who are not really working for that image and don't really seem to have a place I can work them into for the interwoven fabric that is coming together.
This being the case, I was wondering. Would it be alright with you if I were to delete or re-purpose the profiles of a few of the non-utilized or greatly under-utilized characters in the story? I'm talking some of them who look like they were just the characters who you generated with that AI family generator of yours but have no actual profile other than them having a name, picture, and age.
I'm also thinking of removing a few of the teaching staff due to the fact it looks like we're starting to settle on some rather small class sizes, but I might also consider having some of them just share classroom space.
Anyway, I will leave this request up for a while before taking any action on this, but I do not want to wait forever if you're truly not coming back online. So, if I get no response in 3 months, I will consider you to have abandoned the story and take full decision-making control. Jemini (talk) 07:55, 23 January 2023 (CET)
