The twin vaults, Vault 68 and Vault 69, supports a modified form of the Vault-Tec standard bureaucracy. Each vault is unique, and the twin vaults are no exception. To keep everything running smoothly, the activities of the vault are broken down into divisions within six departments. The six departments are: Administrative, Security, Medical, Engineering, Hydroponics, and Animal Husbandry. Each department has a department head. Within each department are departmental divisions which regulate an aspect of vault life. Here is a basic break-down of those divisions:

Departments

Administrative Department

Department Head: Taylor Willis

Administrative Divisions

Bureaucratic: (Division Head - Taylor Willis) The bureaucratic division of the administrative department is responsible for keeping track of the people, property, and events within the vault. Jobs within the Bureaucratic Division include: Overseer, secretary, clerk, and data entry technician.
Supply: (Division Head - ???) The supply division of the administrative department is responsible for maintaining, storing, and distributing the physical property within the vault. Jobs within the Supply Division include: Overseer, Quartermaster, shopkeeper, and warehouse technician.
Child Welfare: (Division Head - ???) The child welfare division of the administrative department is responsible for the care and education of children within the vault. Jobs within the Child Welfare Division include: Overseer, welfare agent, school superintendent, teacher, and daycare charge.
Services: (Division Head - ???) The services division of the administrative department is responsible for the administration of individual services within the vault. Jobs within the Services Division include: Overseer, food service, cosmetologist, disk jockey, and radio host. Positions can be added and removed based on the needs of the vault.

Security Department

Department Head: Haley Willis

Security Divisions

Vault Security: (Division Head - Haley Willis) The vault security division of the security department is responsible for keeping the peace and enforcing the law within the vault. Jobs within the Vault Security Division include: Security Chief, vault security lieutenant, vault security sergeant, and vault security officer.
Investigations: (Division Head - ) The investigations division of the security department is responsible for investigating crimes and collecting evidence within the vault. Jobs within the Vault Security Division include: Security Chief, and detective.
Cyber Security: (Division Head - ) The cyber security division of the security department is responsible for investigating computer related crimes within the vault and maintaining security robots. Jobs within the Cyber Security Division include: Security Chief, cyber crimes analyst, and robot maintenance technician. This department lies outside of the engineering department due to its security-related nature.
Internal Affairs: (Division Head - ) The internal affairs division of the security department is responsible for investigating corruption and crime within the vault security department. Jobs within the Internal Affairs Division include: Security Chief, and internal affairs agent. This department is not a standard manned and maintained division within the security department. If a need for internal investigation arises, a special task-force of capable individuals from other divisions will be recruited and assigned temporarily to this division.

Medical Department

General Medicine: (Division Head - Dr. Renee Romero) The general medicine division of the medical department is responsible for the health and well-being of the people within the vault. Jobs within the General Medicine Division include: Medical Chief, general practitioner, nurse, pharmacist, and orderly.
Psychiatric Medicine: (Division Head - Dr. Scarlet Charbonneau) The psychiatric medicine division of the medical department is responsible for the mental and emotional health and well-being of the people within the vault. Jobs within the Psychiatric Medicine Division include: Medical Chief, psychiatrist, psychologist, and orderly.
Surgery: (Division Head - ???) The surgery division of the medical department is responsible for providing surgical care for the people within the vault. Jobs within the Surgery Division include: Medical Chief, surgeon, anesthesiologist, and nurse.
Obstetrics: (Division Head - ???) The obstetrics division of the medical department is responsible for providing care for the reproductive needs of the people within the vault. Jobs within the Obstetrics Division include: Medical Chief, OB/GYN, fertility specialist, midwife, and nurse.

Engineering Department

Structural Engineering: (Division Head - Chontelle Killian) The structural engineering division of the engineering department is responsible for the maintenance of the structural elements within the vault. Jobs within the Structural Engineering Division include: Chief Engineer, architect, welder, and carpenter.
Power Systems: (Division Head - ???) The power systems division of the engineering department is responsible for the maintenance of the fusion reactor, power transfer infrastructure, and individual fusion cores within the vault. Jobs within the Power Systems Division include: Chief Engineer, power systems engineer, and electrician.
Mechanical Systems: (Division Head - ???) The mechanical systems division of the engineering department is responsible for the maintenance of the mechanical systems within the vault. Jobs within the Electronic Systems Division include: Chief Engineer, mechanical engineer, and mechanic.
Electronic Systems: (Division Head - ???) The electronics systems division of the engineering department is responsible for the maintenance of the computers, robots, and other electronic systems within the vault. Jobs within the Electronic Systems Division include: Chief Engineer, electronic engineer, robotic engineer, and computer programmer.
Custodial: (Division Head - ???) The custodial division of the engineering department is responsible for the cleanliness and minor maintenance of the vault. Jobs within the Power Systems Division include: Chief Engineer, and custodian.

Hydroponics Department

Department Head: Dr. Jocasta Whitney

Farm Oversight: (Division Head - ???) The farm oversight division of the hydroponics department is responsible for the health, development, and organization of plant life within the vault. Jobs within the Farm Oversight Division include: Chief Farmer, and farm planner.
Botanical Genetics: (Division Head - Dr. Jocasta Whitney) The botanical genetics division of the hydroponics department is responsible for the genetic health and development of plant life within the vault. Jobs within the Botanical Genetics Division include: Chief Farmer, botanical geneticist, and lab technician.
Hydroponic Maintenance: (Division Head - ???) The hydroponic maintenance division of the hydroponics department is responsible for the planting, care, and harvesting of plant life within the vault. Jobs within the Botanical Genetics Division include: Chief Farmer, and farm hand.
Plant Products: (Division Head - ???) The plant products division of the hydroponics department is responsible for the collection, preparation, and storage of post growth plant byproducts within the vault. Jobs within the Plant Products Division include: Chief Farmer, brewer, and weaver.

Livestock Genetics: (Division Head - ???) The livestock genetics division of the animal husbandry department is responsible for the genetic health and development of livestock within the vault. Jobs within the Livestock Genetics Division include: Chief Rancher, animal geneticist, and lab technician.
Ranch Maintenance: (Division Head - ???) The ranch maintenance division of the animal husbandry department is responsible for the breeding, care, harvesting, and slaughter of livestock within the vault. Jobs within the Livestock Genetics Division include: Chief Rancher, ranch hand, and slaughterer.
Animal Products: (Division Head - ???) The animal products division of the animal husbandry department is responsible for the collection, preparation, and storage of livestock byproducts within the vault.
