The child was given no right to resist serving whatever sexual need or desire the parent may have had. They were expected to serve their parent's sexual needs on demand whenever they may arise without concern for the child's opinion on the matter. The child was treated as though they had no opinion to start with as to whether they wanted to be doing these sexual things or not. This may include the child being prostituted off as the parent pockets the money, or in very extreme cases the parent may derive some form of sick pleasure from inflicting pain on their child's genitals. There have been extreme cases recorded of parents castrating their male children or raping female children with a rose stem. Interestingly enough, the very very worst cases of sexual abuse are actually committed by women. Men who commit sexual abuse are usually happy to stop at just raping the child with their penis and don't step up to prostituting them off or raping them with objects.
