Parents with a healthily balanced idea on sex education will usually have the same motivations for the well-being of their child as the crazy conservatives, except in their view the goal is not to prevent their child from having sex but to prevent them from getting pregnant/getting some girl pregnant before they are ready. They have the actual original goals of those sexually conservative religions in mind, except with an updated vision that takes contraception into account, and usually an understanding of teen rebelliousness and teen sexuality to go with it.

Parents with a balanced idea on sex-ed will usually try to make sure their children are properly educated on the subject of sex, although some usually do a better job than others. There are some parents who get their children to completely understand sex and what it is all about academically before they ever reach puberty, where as others think it is a good idea for their children to receive a proper sex education but are too uncomfortable talking about the subject to do the job right. They will usually not like the idea of their child actually having sex, but so long as protection is used and their partner is someone acceptable (by whatever personal or social standards determine what acceptable is) they will begrudgingly allow it.

Unfortunately, for the sake of simplifying things, I am going to have to ask you to use your browser's "back" button in order to get out of this page and back to where you were before. The way things are set up, it would simply be far too complicated to set things up otherwise.
