Michael is an angel. As such he was created by YHWH as a servant. This relationship is often misunderstood by mortals and misrepresented in popular culture. Angels are God's servants, djinn his experiments, and humanity his children. All power over man given to the angels is like the power given to a nanny of one's children. Angels are not superior, or even equal to man in God's eyes. To insinuate that angels are the children of god is considered blasphemous and highly offensive to angels.

Michael is the only archangel recognized by Jews, Muslims, and both Catholic and Protestant Christians alike. Michael is the right hand of YHWH since the rebellion of Samael. He is the general of the Heavenly Host, leader of the armies of heaven. No mere messenger, Michael is a warrior angel, and brings YHWH's wrath upon those who deserve it. Michael led the army that cast Samael and his followers into Sheol.

Family

The "siblings" of Michael are too numerous to list. Here are prominent "siblings" involved in the story:

  • Archdevil Samael Sibling: Michael was designed as the exact opposite of Samael. There has always been a very strong animosity between them. This has only grown since the War in Heaven. No two beings despise one another more.
  • Archangel Uriel Sibling: Uriel and Michael get along well. Uriel fully accepts Michael's position over him as leader of the Heavenly Host. They don't really have much of a personal relationship, it is almost entirely professional.

Friends, Enemies, and Acquaintances

  • YHWH Creator (never Father): Michael is YHWH's loyal servant. He obeys all orders without question. He would sooner have all the pain in the universe inflicted upon him, then be subject to all the punishments Sheol has to offer, then be consigned to oblivion than disobey or displease YHWH.
