==Overview of Naivete==
==Overview of Naivete==
NOTE: The Naivete mechanic has gone through a complete overhaul.

Naivete is broken down into two main categories, social and sexual. Social naivete represents the child's awareness of things that should make them not blindly trust adults, whereas sexual naivete is a lack of knowledge of things having specifically to do with sex.
Naivete is a stat that is the result of things the child does not know. If they do not know a lot about the world, particularly in so far as sex is concerned, they are easier to take advantage of. The naivete stat doubles as a boost to the "trust" stat, providing +1 point to their willingness to accept things they are uncomfortable with for every 20 points of naivete.

===Social aspect of naivete===
All children during the generation process are started off with 100 points of naivete that are then subtracted by the knowledge and experience they gain, plus an additional loss of 3 points for every year of age they are over 3. There are 100 points of naivete that can be lost by gaining sex knowledge and/or experiences, and an additional 30 to be lost by the time the child reaches age 13 for a total of 130 points that can be subtracted from naivete, making it fairly reasonable in terms of the chance of the child reaching zero naivete. There are additional pluses and minuses that can be added above and beyond these numbers from the child's personality.

Lower levels of naivete represent the child becoming less naive. This is always goes in only one direction, from more naive to less naive. There are no natural conditions that can cause a child to gain social naivete.
Each sexual knowledge or experience is worth 1 point unless it is listed otherwise.

*Gains a concept of sex-weariness, becoming conscious of sex acts as something they can't be brazen about. Kicks anything they acknowledge as an activity that is "for lovers" over to the "love" stat instead of "touch." Applies to kissing only if they have not yet developed a concept of sex.

*Has discovered masturbation
*Knows babies are made through "sex," an activity "mommies" and "daddies" do. (can be acquired first by itself, or automatically upon learning that semen makes babies. Knowing the mechanics of sex is not required.)
*Knows the physical mechanics of sex (the penis goes inside the vagina. Does not necessarily connect it to the concept of sex.)
*Knows about semen (That it exists and comes out of a boy's penis)
*Knows semen makes babies (Does not need to know this in order to know that sex makes babies)
*Knows the full biology of sex (Must know the concept of sex in order to learn this properly)
*Knows about the emotional complications of sex (Must have social naivete below 15 to get this one)

===False sexual knowledge===

Represents a corruption in the knowledge from above. False knowledge cannot be gained without a total naivete of at least 30. Possessing false knowledge adds 3 points to total naivete. They are considered to also have the knowledge that this false knowledge is a corruption on, so this means there is a -5, +3 total result to the total naivete, for a net -2.

WIP

'''Disbelieving'''

Disbelieving is a trait a child can pick up where, sometimes if you explain how babies are made right after having sex with them, they may be in denial and refuse to believe it and convince themselves the truth you just told them was actually a lie. Every disbelieving trait is attached to a specific piece of sex knowledge, and it actually reverses the naivete effects (+5 naivete instead of -5) and also prevents some other pieces of sex knowledge from lowering naivete.

The disbelieving status can be gained on the "babies are made through sex," and "semen makes babies" sex knowledges, and if they are disbelieving these things then they are unable to gain the "Knows the concept/frame-work for the idea of 'sex'" knowledge, and the "Knows the full biology of sex" knowledge.

Disbelieving has an additional effect of capping out trust at 40, beings they cannot trust you too much or else they will have to admit you may have been telling the truth about what you did with them making a baby. If they have both disbelieving traits, the cap on trust is lowered to 30. If their trust is higher than this cap at the time they gain the disbelieving trait. (how trust higher than the new cap will be handled is up to the coding side to make a decision on.)

The disbelieving trait can be removed by them being provided undeniable evidence that sex/semen makes babies. This evidence can take the form of them discovering they/you are really pregnant, being told the same thing by their parents, or being told the same thing by one of their friends at the daycare. There is an extremely high risk of you getting caught if they find out through their parents.

NOTE: The "know it all" personality has the highest likelihood of becoming disbelieving, and the "curious" personality has the lowest.

Overview of Naivete

NOTE: The Naivete mechanic has gone through a complete overhaul.

Each sexual knowledge or experience is worth 1 point unless it is listed otherwise.
