Ryan still didn't quite know what to make of his daughter's sudden obsession with nudism. He didn't see any harm in letting her go naked at home, and if not for her mother's objections that would have extended to the whole house. But he was puzzled by how seriously she seemed to take it. It wasn't just a matter of not wanting to wear clothes at home; she talked like she believed it was her natural right to be naked at all times and she was being oppressed by society because she couldn't.

He decided he should give her a chance to put her money—or rather skin—where her mouth was. It wasn't that he was trying to change her mind exactly, he just felt the need to find out if she was really prepared to embrace going naked in public. If she did, he was prepared to support her, maybe look into one of those naturist resorts she kept talking about. Even if he was intimidated by the thought of visiting one. If he was honest, he still found it kind of hard to believe they were a real thing, not just a teenage fantasy or poorly disguised sex clubs.

A nude beach felt safer. A naturist resort would be a whole new culture to learn, but a beach was easy to understand. It's public, anyone is welcome, the only difference is clothes aren't required. Trouble is, Willows Junction was nowhere near the ocean. But after doing some online research of his own, he found something just as good. Within a reasonable drive, there was a place called Bohemian Basin, a fully legal clothing-optional public swimming area administered by its county government.

Ryan pitched the idea to his wife first of course. Ava was skeptical, but agreed with his reasoning that it would be good to find out if Sally was really serious. He asked Devin what he thought as well, and he also thought Sally should have a chance to prove herself, or else get it out of her system.

And so Ryan started making plans for the trip in earnest. It was still going to be a 3 hour drive or so, according to Google Maps, but for Sally, it was worth it. And hey, he kinda wanted to see what a real life nudist beach looked like too. But first, he had to know who all was coming. So far he kept Sally in the dark, thinking it would be a fun surprise, but he asked the others if they wanted to come along.

Who would be going?
