Indeed, it would be better to specify the nature of your relationship to your partner now rather than have the awkwardness of just treating them as someone who happens to know you and is somehow allowing you to do these things with them. So then, what is your relationship to your partner?
NOTE: You will select your settings in each category and then indicate that you are done when things are as you want them. Your age relative to your partner and your virginity or puberty status my limit some of your options. It might be a good idea to change some of those settings.
- Change own age settings
- Change partner's age settings
- Change virginity status
- Change puberty status
Well then, if everything is as you like, you may select your settings from below.
Biological relation (Whether or not you are related by blood)
- Parent/child (Possible but a bit crazy with current age settings)
- Sibling
- 2nd order family (Aunt/uncle, cousin or grandparent)
- Distant family (More distant than 2nd order, normally not kept track of)
- No biological relation
Closeness (How well do you know each other/are attached to each other?)
Authority (How much authority does one of you have over the other? Note, an age difference of 3 or more years creates natural authority)
- Permanent Legal Guardian ((Adoptive) Mother or Father / Not an option with current age settings)
- Temporary Legal Guardian (Foster Parent / Not an option with current age settings)
- Temporary Custodian (Teacher, Counselor, Babysitter / Not an option with current age settings)
- Celebrity Status (One of you are awed by the accomplishments of the other, and this unbalances the relationship)
- Group leader (One of you is the leader of a group the other is in)
- Charisma (No specific power imbalance, one of you just has more charisma and that imbalances the power in the relationship)
- No power imbalance
Other connection status
- Child of a friend/parent's friend
- Sibling of a friend/sibling's friend
- Child of a romantic partner/parent's boyfriend/girlfriend
- Sibling of a romantic partner/sibling's boyfriend/girlfriend
- Step-sibling (Your non-biological sibling through adoption or re-marriage of parents)
- No other connections
