The parent(s) have on rather frequent occasion said some words to the child, likely in anger, that are overly harsh and unfair and the sort of things that are really not the kinds of things you should be saying to a child. They may criticize their child's intelligence, calling them stupid, or they may say to their own child that it was a mistake for them to have ever been born. There is no actual effort to tear down the child's will, these are just incredibly wrong words that are said in the height of frustration. It is possible these may be the parent's actual thoughts, but at most other times they will at least play the role of a proper parent.

It is possible these may be the parent's actual thoughts, but at most other times they will at least play the role of a proper parent.
