The orphanage/Chapter1

It was a normal morning in the orphanage, when suddenly someone comes ringing the doorbell of the place, one of the maids opens the door to meet a man who brought a child in poor condition to be cared for in this place, the man introduces himself saying that he is a man from the town who found this child wandering the streets, so he decided to bring him here, the maid approached the little boy to ask his name, shyly hiding behind the man, she answered in a low voice: "Aiden". "Nice to meet you aiden, my name is melanie and I am one of the maids at this orphanage, would you like to come in?" asks melanie. Aiden fearfully nods his head.' Melanie smiles at him and opens the door of the orphanage so that he can pass, melanie says "goodbye to the man and thanks him for bringing the child, closes the door and addresses the child.

Once inside, aiden is surprised to see how big the orphanage is inside, with an astonished face he says: "how big this place is and it's cold", melanie smiles at him and says that he is right, it is very big.

Aiden's guts growl, in a sad way he asks if there is something he can eat since he is starving, melanie laughs tenderly and answers yes, but clarifies that he does not have to feel sorry when saying things since this is your new home. Aiden gets excited hearing that and smiles happily at melanie.

Melanie tells him to accompany her to the kitchen to see what to eat, he follows her but realizes that at the top of the stairs there is a girl watching him stealthily. Aiden doesn't care too much about it and continues walking to the kitchen. Once they got to the kitchen, melanie introduces aiden to the other maid, she says: she is lucy, another of the maids in this place, aiden shyly says to her in a low voice: "hello".

Lucy tenderly turns her head and tenderly replies hello, I have not seen you before, are you a new child?

Aiden is silent. Melanie answers that "yes", he has just arrived, a man from the town brought him, he found him in bad condition on the street and decided to bring him here, but he is very shy, we must show him that he can trust us.

Lucy understands the situation and with a consoling face asks Aiden if he's hungry. Aiden puts his hands on his stomach as his belly growls, and replies "yes". Lucy smiles at him and says that in a moment the food will be ready, today's menu is soup and a little meat with an orange juice, aiden's saliva drips from his mouth when he hears that, Lucy tells him that if he wants he can wait in the dining room and in a while she will bring him his food. Aiden licks his lips hungrily and nods. Melanie takes him to the dining room and tells him that he can sit where he likes, and that in a moment the other children will come to eat too.

Aiden sees that the dining room is very large and that there are many places to sit, there are several small and large tables, he decides to sit at the large table, waiting for all the children to sit with him.

Suddenly, another maid arrives, looks at Aiden and goes straight to the kitchen with the other maids, Aiden manages to hear a little of what they are talking about in the kitchen, he can hear that they are talking about him, the unknown maid asks where he came from that new child and why didn't they tell her before?

They continue talking for a while and then he hears that the new maid comes to where he is, makes a scared face and lowers his head, the new maid asks him what his name is, to which he remains silent because he was listening to their conversation a while ago, in addition to being shy. The new maid makes a face between confusion and annoyance and asks him louder, what is your name?

Lucy realizes the situation and approaches with them, explains to the maid that he is very shy and that she should speak to him in a more friendly way so that she builds trust with him and he can respond to her. The maid with an annoyed face due to her character says to Aiden with a not very pretty smile face, my name is Morgan, what is yours?

Aiden is surprised and shocked by his expression, but manages to say in a low voice: "aiden"

"See?" It wasn't that difficult, Morgan replies to Aiden. Try not to be so shy, and have fun with the other children, in a moment I'll bring them to eat.

Morgan turns around and goes upstairs in the direction of the children's rooms, lucy tells aiden with a worried face not to be intimidated by morgan she has a bit of a strong character, but she really is a very good person.

Aiden nods and thanks Lucy for the explanation.

Then Lucy goes to the kitchen after hearing Melanie's call to help her carry the food.

Aiden is excited because they are finally going to bring the food, but when he looks towards the stairs he realizes that several boys and girls are coming down them, and they approach the dining room, he removes his emotion from his face and his face turns red. of grief.

At that, some girls arrive and sit at the large table in front of his table, then other children approach Aiden's table and sit at his table but a little away from him.

At that the 3 maids arrive with the food to which the children are desperately happy to have their food.

Aiden receives the first dish, because of that all the children are aware of his presence.

Aiden notices that everyone is watching him and lowers his head, after that melanie tells him that there is nothing to fear, that he can eat in peace.

As they finish serving the dishes to the other children, Morgan loudly informs the other children that there is a new member at this orphanage. She asks aiden if he can please stand up.

Aiden's face falls with pity but he stands up and greets the other children saying: "Hi, I'm Aiden, nice to meet you, I hope we can be friends."

The other children smile at him and happily wave back: "hi aiden"

Aiden shyly sits back down and finishes eating.

After that, morgan advises aiden that she will give him a tour of the whole place.

Morgan takes aiden out of the orphanage and tells him: "as you can see this is the main entrance, to enter the orphanage you have to go through a huge black gate, the orphanage has a large wall that covers its entire perimeter".

Passing the gate there is a main garden, with grass, trees, rose bushes and other striking plants, in the middle of the garden there is a very beautiful fountain carved in stone, further on is the garage where there is a copper statue of the torso of the founder (the father of the maids).

Aiden had already walked in there but hadn't realized some of the details Morgan said.

Morgan tells him to go in again to show him the rest of the place, aiden stares for a moment at the statue of the founder, then continues on his way.

They pass the main entrance and find the first corridor, in front are the stairs, on the right side are some rooms, and on the left side are the kitchen and dining room.

Morgan takes Aiden into the kitchen and says: "As you could see before, this is our kitchen, here we make all kinds of delicious dishes."

Aiden is surprised to hear that and shows a huge smile to Morgan, he tells her that he is very grateful to have come here and to have eaten a delicious meal.

Melanie was also in the kitchen, she listens to them and smiles at Aiden as she says: how nice to hear that, I almost always make the food myself but I hadn't heard such nice words for a long time.

Aiden gets a little embarrassed and looks away.

Both leave the kitchen and go to the dining room, morgan explains to aiden that this is the place where everyone gathers to eat, usually everyone sits at the large tables to eat together, this time the girls and boys separated to eat, "maybe it was due to your arrival that they didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable" replies morgan.

After that they go to the place where they teach the children, Morgan shows her each of the rooms where the children have different classes, she explains that each of the maids give classes, they take turns at different times to teach the children, or they agree on what classes to teach.

Morgan takes time to explain what classes are like at the orphanage, then they go upstairs and go to the rooms.

Morgan explains to Aiden that there is a room for boys and another for girls and that he is not allowed to enter the girls' room but only for this occasion she is going to show it to him so that he knows it

They both go to the girls' room, Aiden gets a little excited since he had never had a friend and he believed that he could make friends in this place.

Before entering the room, Aiden overhears Lucy's voice saying that Aiden is a shy boy but he seems to be a good boy, he explains to the girls to be nice to him and try to be his friends.

At that moment morgan and aiden enter the room, the girls together with lucy stare at aiden, then smile and say: "hello aiden"

Aiden is a bit intimidated since there are several people but he remains calm and answers hello with a flushed face.

One of the girls tells him that she finds the expression on his face cute. Which makes aiden look confused and hang his head.

The girls laugh at him a little, another one of them tells him that there is nothing wrong with being shy, that she was also like that at the beginning but she managed to adapt to the place quickly.

Aiden smiles and appreciates their comments, then Lucy tells the girls to introduce themselves one by one starting with the youngest girl.

At that moment a girl of about 5 years old stands up and says:

"Hi, I'm Isabella and I really like to play with Ryan."

She is a small girl with green eyes, has white skin and has a blonde ponytail hairstyle, due to her small body you can see a small belly as if she were still a baby.

Isabella sits down and another girl stands up:

Hello, I'm emma and I like to sleep, she says it while yawning.

She is a girl of about 7 years old, her body is slim, she has honey yellow eyes, she has loose brown hair but when she turns around you can see a small braid, her skin is white.

Emma leaves and lies down on the bed while another girl stands up:

Hi, I'm olivia and I like to draw.

She is a girl of about 8 years old, she is very skinny, she has two brown braids, in addition to brown eyes, her skin color is pale white.

Olivia sits down and lets the following girl pass:

"Hello, I'm veronica and I like to eat."

She is a 9-year-old girl, her body is a bit fat, she has gray eyes, her skin color is brown, and she has long black hair that reaches below her back.

Before sitting down, she takes some cookies that she had on her bed and gives them to Aiden, she says: "I hope you like them and we can be friends, these cookies are from all the girls"

Aiden is surprised, smiles and says "thank you very much".

Finally the last girl stands up and says:

"Hi, my name is Sophia, and I think you are a very pretty boy"

Aiden blushes and puts on an embarrassed expression as he lowers his head and clasps his hands.

She is a 10 year old girl, she has an excellent physical shape, she has a pair of sky blue eyes, she has nice white skin and loose blonde hair.

Aiden looks up a bit, appreciates her words and tells her in a shy way that she is pretty too.

Sophia smiles and is excited by what aiden said, then she goes and sits next to lucy while hugging her.

Lucy tells Morgan that she will continue to take care of the girls, that she can continue showing the place to Aiden.

Morgan tells aiden to accompany her, aiden says goodbye to the girls and accompanies morgan.

They both head to the boys room.

When they arrive, Morgan notices a bit of disorder in they room, so before presenting aiden tells the children in a loud voice:

"Why is there so much disorder in your room?"

"Clean everything right now or tomorrow there will be no food for you"

At that moment all the children get up quickly to tidy up the room.

When they finish ordering it, she asks the children to sit in an orderly way in front of her.

The children listen and form a line.

Aiden is shocked by the way Morgan yells and how quickly the children listened.

Then Morgan tells the children:

"Each one of you is going to introduce yourself from the youngest to the oldest."

In that the smallest child stands in front of aiden and says:

"Hi, I'm Ryan, I like to suck my thumb."

He is a 6-year-old boy, he has beautiful light blue eyes, with blond hair, and his skin is white, since he is a small child, he forms a small chubby baby belly.

Ryan sits down and grabs his teddy bear while sucking his thumb.

Then another child stands up:

"Hi, I'm William and I like to paint."

He is an 8-year-old boy, with a thin complexion, has brown eyes, his skin is black and he has curly black hair.

William sits down so another child can introduce himself

Another child stands up and says:

"Hi, my name is Noah and I like to play soccer, I hope we can play many games together"

He is a 9 year old boy, he is slim, he has orange eyes with white skin and brown hair.

Noah, jump onto his bed and wait for the others to introduce themselves.

Another boy stands up and says:

What's up, my name is Mason, I like to play on the playground.

He has an athletic body, as well as a feminine face, he has green eyes, white skin and black hair with a tomboy style hairstyle.

Mason sits down and lets the last boy introduce himself.

The last child stands up and says:

Hello, my name is Michael and I like to listen to music.

He is an 11 year old boy, he has a slightly muscular body, he has green eyes, his skin is brown and he has light brown hair.

When everyone finishes introducing themselves, Morgan clarifies to the children:

Aiden is a shy boy, treat him well and be his friends please.

Mason smiles and says:

"Since you entered this place we are all friends"

Aiden makes a sad face and starts crying with happiness.

Morgan asks him: why are you crying?

I've never had so many friends, replies Aiden.

All the children make crying faces and come over to hug aiden and comfort him.

Morgan tells him that he has to show him the other parts of the orphanage.

Aiden wipes her tears and walks with Morgan.

The children say goodbye to Aiden.

Aiden asks where will they go now?

Morgan responds: "We will go to see the showers in the house, there are only 2 in this place, one next to the boys room and another next to the girls room."

Aiden asks if the maids can get into the boys showers

Morgan responds: "the maids can be anywhere in the orphanage, since we must make sure that everything is in order"

But she also says: "obviously you can't go to the girls' showers for obvious reasons, oh I forgot to tell you that there is also a Janitor in this place, maybe later I'll introduce him to you, his name is blake"

Morgan explains that in the showers are the changing rooms where the children leave their clothes before bathing, then there are the showers, there are about 25 showers around that room.

"It's a very large place," says aiden.

"Before there used to be more children in this place" answers morgan

"But some grew up and went to another place or were adopted"

Morgan takes aiden to his room that is downstairs, and tells him: "this is my room".

Aiden is surprised and says: "wow her room is very elegant, it has a huge chandelier, a black dresser with a very nice mirror, a huge bed, a closet and a bedside table"

Morgan thanks Aiden for his compliments and shows him that the main entrance can be seen from his window.

Aiden is amazed at how everything can be seen from his window.

Morgan tells Aiden that he is going to show him the rooms of the other maids.

Aiden enters melanie's room.

It is similar to Morgan's only that it has a single bed and a hanging fan.

In addition, her dressing table is brown as well as her mirror and an equally small closet.

But aiden managed to appreciate something different in the window of melanie's room, you could see a playground.

Aiden got really excited and asked Morgan if they could come see it

Morgan responds that he has to finish looking at the other rooms first.

"Come on then," replies aiden.

Morgan takes him to Lucy's room, in this case her dresser is white as is her mirror.

Her bed is single, but she has a large closet, there is also a bedside table with a lamp, in her window you can also see the playground.

After that morgan tells him that they are going to go see blake's room (the janitor).

They enter Blake's room, which is the same as all the others, but this one has a carpet on the floor that covers his entire room.

Aiden asks why this room has carpet and the others don't?

Morgan responds that blake likes comfort and he installed this rug when he arrived at the orphanage.

Aiden asks "Is that all the rooms I had to see?"

Morgan responds: that only a few are missing, "there are some that are abandoned like those next to the showers or the theater that is near the dining room but that they hardly use".

She also tells him that there are 6 bathrooms in the entire orphanage, 4 have showers and each of them are in the rooms that she has just shown him.

The other 2 are in the rooms of each bedroom.

"I know you're excited about the playground so I just told you this resume so I don't have to go show you these places," responds morgan.

"Okay, let's go check out the playground," says Morgan.

Aiden gets excited and runs after Morgan.

They arrive at the playground and aiden is surprised to see how big it is.

Morgan explains:

"In the playground there are 2 fields, 1 for soccer and 1 for basketball."

"Next to it are some swings, slides, handrails and a sandbox."

"There is also a shed where the janitor keeps his tools, equipment and materials to work with.

"On the side of the shed you can find a water tap and a lying hose."

At that moment they meet the janitor who was inside the shed.

Blake comes out of the shed and greets Aiden, saying:

What do we have here? A new member of this beautiful orphanage.

Aiden smiles doubtfully, and says:

"My name is Aiden, I am 10 years old."

Blake smiles at him and says:

"I'm blake and I'm the janitor of this place."

"Any repair you need, you can count on me."

Aiden shyly thanks him and hides behind Morgan.

Blake laughs at how shy Aiden is.

For that morgan clarifies to blake that aiden is a shy boy and needs to be treated well.

Blake gets it and tells Aiden if he would like to play on the playground.

Aiden smiles and answers "yes" immediately.

Before aiden goes to play, Morgan says that "after playing he has to go to sleep in the boys' bedroom."

Aiden is gleefully sliding down the slide while shaking his head saying yes.

While aiden enjoys the playground, Morgan and Blake chat for a while.

It starts to get dark, so morgan tells aiden: "it's time for you to go to sleep, go to the children's bedroom and choose the bed that you want and that is unoccupied"

Aiden approaches Morgan to say, "Morgan, can I ask you something?"

Morgan responds: "yes, there is no problem"

Aiden asks him: "Can you bring me a book and a pencil to make a diary? Please."

Morgan answers: "Sure, go to the bedroom and I'll take it to you in a moment."

Aiden smiles and says, "Thanks Morgan."

Then he runs to the bedroom.

Aiden goes upstairs to go to the bedroom.

Suddenly he hears a noise coming from the girls' bedroom.
