Oh, you're right. I filled both legs but I forgot the fact that you progressed from the one where the bath was started. I guess, since you originally chose the one where he took her straight to the toilet and started progressing the other one after I filled both, it just skipped my mind that you'd changed tracks. I'm going to have to re-work this quite a bit. (Probably also fill in the line where the bath isn't started in order to properly accommodate this passage.) Ok, I found the REAL problem. At some point, I'd accidentally merged the routes where you start the bath and where you don't. Technically, this WAS the no-bath-started route the entire time, but since you could also get here through the route where you do start the bath, it made things confusing. Well, I've fixed it now and set up the started-the-bath route to be equal to 1 scene behind this one (because 1 scene ago is actually where the two paths start to show different results based on that earlier decision.) This is exactly why I love letting others pick the route before I write it. When I make the options, I always have a result in my mind where every single route succeeds in the character's intentions. However, when I get some time separated from the writing and someone else picks it, I can easily envision which ones are likely to actually work and which ones will have unexpected consequences consistent with the characters and lore I've set up. This would be an example of that. Jemini (talk) 15:05, 1 December 2022 (CET)
