She had come in telling you that she and her friend Mary were lesbians. You found out quickly that there is really no way her friend Mary was a lesbian at all. She had gone along with Diya's idea for her own reasons. The jury's still out on whether or not Diya's bisexual though. Long story short with a lot of the gory details removed, it seems the entire scheme was to get you to marry Diya's friend Mary as a matter of fact, and it was actually Diya who was the extra baggage in the plan.

One way or another though, whether you married both of them or only the friend Mary, both of them would be sharing your bed due to the way they went about this.
