Two problems with this new addition to Maredith's sexual knowledge section. 1. She seemed surprised Jack was spineless where it came to women in the 1st scene. This vision she supposedly had should have let her know ahead of time. Although, it could work with some fairly slight modification. 2. This should mean Helen ought to care about Jack and his progress a fair bit. Well, that's not exactly contradicted at this point by the story itself, only your words in some discussion sections. So, they're not serious problems, only the implications of this new addition. Jemini (talk) 16:53, 12 March 2020 (CET)
The way I see it, Maredith had just had the vision and hadn't had time to process it. When she had to confront Jack and found he was "The" beta it came flooding back. Thus her shock and then sudden determination to help. As for earlier talks, my original thought on the story have morphed as we have developed the back story and written a little.
As for your part. Helen knows who Jack is, but acts like she doesn't so as not to tip anything off.
