“It was an abuse of authority case,” you supply quickly to quell your older sister’s fears. “He thought that girls shouldn’t be allowed to play baseball and was trying to mess with Roni, I tried to talk him down and it somehow turned into a fight and I pinned him to the ground.”
“Oh my God!” She says, staggering closer to you seeming unsure of witch one of you to comfort. “Are you alright?” She asks, “Are you GOING to be alright?”
“Yeah,” you say, answering the second question first as you get the gysts behind it, “the whole situation is resolved, I snagged his radio off his vest while I had him pinned and called some of his buddies over myself. They didn’t seem very pleased with him, but they seemed to be pretty happy with me.”
“They want HIM to be a police man!” Roni adds, practically bouncing up and down.
“Really?” Brittany responds, giving you an appraising look over as she seems to be seeing you in a whole new light. “I can't believe it, my nerdy little brother finally grew a spine!” She comments, looking at you with quite a bit of approval but she still seems to look rather spooked. “Anyway, are you two Ok? Did either of you get hurt?”
“Naw,” you say, “I put him down before he could even get a lick in, and he didn’t come anywhere near Roni.”
“Yeah!” Roni says, “It was SOOOO cool. This one kid Billy didn’t want to let me play, and then he ran crying to his dad and brought him back and then we looked up and saw Xander fighting with someone who was on the bench!”
“Wait, slow down, what?” Brittany says, unable to follow Roni’s story at all.
“The police officer was this new kid Billy’s dad.” You supply.
“Oh, well, that’s a shame.” She says, “It’s pretty sad he is learning that kind of thing from a father like that.”
“He stinks!” Roni asserts, “he’s just afraid he’s going to loose to a girl!”
“Well...” Brittany pauses, seeming to be uneasy about leaving things at that but not really knowing how to object. “Well.. anyway,” her mind seems to change tracks, “it sounds like you two had quite an ordeal. I…. well, I still got lunch on the stove. How about you two just kick back while it’s finished?” She staggers back into the kitchen before turning back toward you with an appraising smile. “Oh! Yes! She suddenly says, “Before I forget, your friend March called. He was asking if he could come over. I told him you were out and I would ask you to call him back. Are you Ok for that? You might want to just rest after all that, I’m sure he will understand.”
March? He is probably going to want to watch porn all evening in your room. He has a really sexually repressed family, despite how much his parents seem to get it on with the ridiculous size of it. A family of 19, counting his mother and father. You can understand why he gets no time to crank it at his house, you feel sympathy for the guy.
So, do you call March now?
Or do you wait until after lunch and...
