She couldn't even make a sound as her lungs tried their hardest to supply air to her morphing body. Choosing to heed her uncle's request Opal took the foot path down towards the main road, a bit of a hike that took about 10-15 minutes one way. There was a side road hat led up to the logging site for trucks and equipment, but that was out of the way and would take longer. So with a skip in her step the auburn haired girl began her walk.

It was a noisy evening, the nocturnal insects of the forest were all out singing their songs, drowning out all sounds aside from her footsteps and quiet humming. After a few minutes Opal arrived at a what she called the lookout, a flat area of ground halfway down the hill with a medium sized tree surrounded by large, think bushes. She had discovered that by crawling under a few specific bushes she could enter the enclosed space, hidden from view, and that by climbing the tree she had a great view over the surrounding valley.

Deciding to take a quick detour she did just that, and shimmied herself under the bushes and into her own little hide away. She was about to approach the tree when it happened.

Opal froze, the numbness spreading from the amulet now all too apparent. Her breath started to quicken, her heartbeat sounded in her ears, and the droning sound of the nighttime wildlife faded into the background. Suddenly she was overcome with the feeling of confinement, and without a second thought began shedding her clothes. She couldn't explain it, but Opal felt like the fabric was oppressive, like the heavy quilt she spelt under during the winter but worse, and didn't give the fact she was undressing outside a second thought as long as it meant escaping that unpleasant sensation.

After a second more she stood there, naked as could be but for the amulet against her chest. Her pale skin seemingly glowed under the silvery light of the full moon, and despite the warm air goosebumps spread across her skin, causing her tiny nipples to stiffen up in response. A sense of relief filled the prepubescent girl, but it was short lived as a new sensation began to take root deep within her.

And it wasn't pleasant by any means.

It felt as if every part of her body was expanding from the inside out and twisting in different directions simultaneously. Her bones began to warp, hair follicles forced their way out from her skin, her teeth and jaw ached so badly she couldn't feel it over the pain. She couldn't even make a sound as her lungs tried their hardest to supply air to her morphing body. And strangest of all was how the amulet seemed to be absorbing itself into her chest, until it disappeared completely.

Within the increasingly chaotic mess that was Opal's mind one thing was crystal clear: she was becoming a monster.

But into what form does she transform?
