Tabitha was abandoned at the Orphanage at age 3 due to being cross-eyed. Being cross-eyed also causes her some vision problems, and this causes her to have a hard time reading and writing.

She also gets made fun of by other kids and even some teachers due to being cross-eyed and "looking weird." This causes her additional emotional issues, worsening her school performance further.

Her teachers at school do not see her problems, however. They just see a cross-eyed kid who does bad at school. To them, her poor school performance is just because she's dumb, because she "looks" dumb due to her deformity.

This has all culminated in her being held back a year, and she is currently repeating the 2nd grade this year.

Biography
