I like the world setting we're getting. A mixture of modern day society... with magic! One thing you have to explain is how he actually passed all the red tape and background checks if he had a disposition to abuse the children under his care. I assume the magic is not only used to ensure the license can't be faked, but there was magic involved in all the background and personality checks, so I'm assuming he had to do something to pass them, either bribes or use some magic of his own. --Tod Naturlich (talk) 20:29, 26 May 2018 (CEST)

To be honest, I hadn't really planned out that far. As per my usual, I had a general idea I wanted a world setting like this and the license assurance seemed like the perfect opportunity to toss it in. That said, my brain is rather used to rolling with things like this, and now that you've brought that discrepancy up I already have an answer to it. I'll have to pop over to the Trello board and discuss it with the others for a bit first though, you'll probably find out what it is over here once it gets implemented. Yeah, I WANTED to actually get just one character very fleshed out, but I realized that I hadn't developed a distinct enough voice for Hannah yet to start really exploring her. I'm hoping to write a few instances of the same scene for each girl in order to get a better idea of each girl's voice, then I'll pick one and really flesh out just that one. (Once that one's finished, then it should be easier to complete the others as well by copy-pasting over the similar scenes.)

Speaking of copy-pasting scenes, it would really help to have a sub-writer to transfer over the scenes that are short and unvaried where the only thing different is a name swap. I keep finding that 60% of my time is spent just doing those portions. Jemini (talk) 20:36, 20 June 2018 (CEST)

Ok, I'm about to try and start on the different versions of the same scene. I am hoping to minimize text for the final game when it's made so that the actual data size of the game will be smaller. As such, I will be trying to make it so that the only change between most of the scenes are a few key lines that characterize each girl. I will make those lines in bold text. This will also double as a short-cut for the creative process. If certain lines of text can be set as standardized then it would even make multiple writers working together easier since it will just be a matter of coming up with those few lines for each new character introduced. (Of course there will be special exceptions, for instance on the route I've chonsen to develop Hannah and Ana will each have a unique entry to the scene while the rest are more standardized.)
