It's always good to see new writers on the site. There are some glaring errors with the format of your story A day of a lifetime, however:
First, in a multipart story every link MUST contain a bit of text that is unique to the story (often the story title). The method to use this system without displaying it is covered in the Format Rules, Specifically at Format Rules/Links. This eliminates the chance that stories accidentally use the same page name. For instance by using the page name Winter if someone else were to omit the unique text for their story and add an option for Winter, it would link to your story instead... which would be very confusing for the reader. Additionally, if you'd continued, the pages Boy and Girl would cross paths in your own story! Every page name (and thus every link) needs to be unique.
Second, every story page is required to have a category (usually the story's title) to keep all the pages together and accessible. This is covered on the page Format Rules/Categories. The categories are also important to allow the system to automatically count the pages for the index page entry... speaking of which.
Third, if you want people to be able to find your story, it's a good idea to add an entry to the index page that best suits your story. By the Look of it, it belongs in the Meta Stories section. This entry also allows people to know if they are permitted to contribute to your story via the story permissions entry. The proper format for entries can be found at Format Rules/Story Entries; or you can copy someone else's entry and change the information to that of your story.
I'm going to fix your current pages to the correct format as an example of how to do things. I will not make the index page entry, as I don't know where you are heading with the story. Please follow the proper formatting in the future. If you have any questions or need any help, feel free to contact me on my talk page. --Elerneron (talk) 14:34, 30 November 2022 (CET)
