Beseech secrecy: Incubus ability

Basic effects

People are less likely to tell others about your sexual activities with them or others if you indicate, ask, persuade or demand they keep it a secret.

Alters the likelyhood of the target telling about what they saw, discovered, figured out, or experienced by 1 level toward secrecy for every 1000 points of power possessed by the Incubus after mitigating factors are figured into the equation.

Levels of likelyhood to tell.

• Feels a driving need to tell someone
• Feels that telling someone is the thing they should do
• Thinks it would be a good idea to tell someone
• Not sure if they should tell someone, but would tell immediately if asked
• Not leaning in either direction, would be easily swayed toward the step immediately above or below this by who talks to them first
• Not sure if they should tell someone, but will at least not volunteer the information and will have to be directly pushed for it
• Thinks it would not be a good idea to tell someone
• Feels that it would be a bad idea to let people find out
• Feels a driving need to keep it secret
• Is magically compelled to never tell about it to an extent that defies reason to some extent

Even if the power possessed by the incubus is insufficient to influence the target at all, this ability only magically assists or augments the effects of natural persuasion. If the method of persuading the target into secrecy would have normally been effective on the target even without the effects of this power, then they may still move toward the the "less likely to tell" direction.

Mitigating factors

This power actually does not work as well on individuals with more involvement with the act or more awareness of sex. It only requires 1000 power to sway a person with zero knowledge of sex who just became passively aware as a 3rd party observer of you and someone else doing something together that they are not sure about and who is a complete stranger to both you and the person you are doing it with.

(The "0" level for all 3 areas of influence on the cost of the power being used.)

However, for every 1 level more involved or knowledgeable the target is, it will require 1000 more points of power for the incubus to influence them toward secrecy.

Understanding levels.

0: Zero awareness of sex

1: Aware things related to privates can be appealing for some people

2: Aware of sex-acts, but considers them a game

3: Aware of PIV sex, but considers it a game

4: Aware of PIV sex and knows it's an adult activity

5: Aware of PIV sex and knows it makes babies

6: Aware of sex-acts, and knows it's an adult activity

7: Aware of seduction and sensual motions and how to have sex appeal

8: Aware of the emotional complexities involved in sexual activities

9: Aware of the emotional complexities involved in sexual activities, and has also had sex enough times to be fairly comfortable with it

10: Sexually experienced, comfortable with sex, aware of the complexities of sex, and aware of their own sexuality and how to use it

Involvement levels - relationship.

0: Complete stranger

1: Has seen you around, but doesn't know your name

2: Complete stranger in the same grouping as you (grouping = in the same class at school or fellow passenger on a bus)

3: Has spoken with you before

4: Knows and remembers your name

5: Is an estranged relative who at least knows your name (estranged relatives who do not know your name are in the "stranger in the same grouping" category)

6: Is a loose acquaintance

7: Is in a distant orbit of the same friend group

8: Is a close acquaintance

9: Can loosely be defined as a friend

10: Can easily be defined as a friend

11: Is a relative living in the same house

12: Is a close friend

13: Is a member of your immediate family

14: Is a partner in a formalized romantic relationship

15: Is a formal (but not primary) caretaker who should be preventing or discouraging your sex acts

Involvement levels - participation in the sex act

0: Fully uninvolved 3rd party with passing suspicions

1: Saw or heard something but didn't recognize it as a sex act

2: Lacking in sexual knowledge, and saw the aftermath of sex acts without understanding what they are seeing

3: Saw some innocent level touching and gestures that could go farther into sex

4: Sees the aftermath of sex acts while having the knowledge to know what it is, but dismisses it because they think they saw wrong

5: Lacking in sexual knowledge, and saw the sex act happen right in front of them without understanding what they saw

6: Lacking in sexual knowledge, and had the sex act performed on them without understanding what was done to them

7: Suspects you might have engaged in a sex act, but didn't see it themselves

8: Is fairly certain you have engaged in a sex act, but didn't see it themselves

9: Was aware of you engaging in a sex act nearby but was not directly involved

10: Walked in on you engaging in a sex act

11: Watched you engage in a sex act from start to finish

12: Was the surprise recipient of your sex act

13: Was the primary instigator of your sex act

14: Was mutually involved with you in your sex act

15: Was aware of and actively resisting your sex act

Conditions

• Incubus
• One of the following
  • Has requested sex acts be kept secret with a target that would be influenced by the Incubus' current level of power
  • Has successfully persuaded someone at a Lv. 10 involvement in either relationship or participation toward secrecy without this power
• No power requirements beyond the base 1000 for the 1st of the 2 methods to gain
