Your first day of preschool was kinda scary. You had to be away from your mommy, and you didn't know how you were going to know who Jordan was. Would Jordan not know who you are and leave you at the preschool? What if he took some other girl instead of you? You almost cried after your mommy left, but one of your teachers named Ms. Sarah was really nice. She brought you over to play with a Sesame Street toy that you pushed a button and Big Bird talked to you, and then she got you to start coloring in some color books. After a little bit, you started finding other toys to play with.
Later, when you had to use the potty, you didn't know where the bathroom was. You asked one of the other teachers, Mr. Karl, and he brought you to it and helped you use a big kid's potty. You were glad he helped you because the big potty here was weird. You sometimes need help getting on the potty at home, but while this potty was lower the seat was broken at the front and there was no lid. The part where it had no front though made it so you didn't know how to sit on it. Mr. Karl helped you take off your pants so you could sit with your legs farther apart and he helped by holding your hands so you didn't fall into the toilet while you peed, and then he helped you clean up with toilet paper after you were done.
After a while, you stopped being so scared, and then when preschool was over, all the mommies and daddies come to pick up the other kids. You notice that a lot of the daddies look a lot older than Mr. Karl, but you don't think that Karl is a kid. Then, one boy comes in who is definitely younger than Mr. Karl, but he still looks like he could be an adult to you even though he is a little short and looks like he could be younger than all the other adults. You have never heard of a teenager before, all you know is that he doesn't really look like an adult but he doesn't look like a kid either.
The boy who is not a kid and not an adult gives a piece of paper to Ms. Sarah and after she looks at it she looks happy as she says "Yes! She's right over here." And then she leads the boy over to you. "Milly," she says to you, "this is Jordan. He's the babysitter for your mommy. He's here to take you home today."
"Ok." You respond with a bit of hesitation. You knew caus your mommy told you that someone named Jordan would be picking you up from preschool. You didn't like it when she told you, you didn't know how you were going to know who was Jordan. You were scared that Jordan wouldn't know who you are and you would have to be stuck at the preschool and never see your mommy again. For some reason, now that that didn't happen you are nervous about Jordan. You don't know why, but you are scared of him like you were scared all day when your mommy first dropped you off at the preschool.
Jordan smiled real nice at you and said "Hi Milly, are you scared?"
