You hesitate for a little, and then you move your head up and down to say "Yes," you know you probably shouldn't be but you really are kinda scared because your mommy left you here and now she's not the one picking you up. This strange boy is just taking you from here, and part of you is worried he may take you somewhere that's not your house and you will never see your mommy again.


"It's Ok," Jordan says to you. "It's normal to be scared when you meet someone new, but I'm not going to hurt you. We're going to walk home together, Ok?"


"It's Ok, you can trust Jordan," Ms. Sarah says. "He also babysits my kids sometimes, they really love him. You'll like him too!"


You're still not too sure, but if Ms. Sarah says so too then it's gotta be alright, and your mommy even said that someone named Jordan was going to be picking you up from preschool so she already knows about it. You are still a little scared, but you take Jordan's hand when he holds it out to you and then he says, "Great! We're going to have a lot of fun when we get home Milly! Goodbye Ms. Welsh! Say hi to Peter and Cortney for me!"


"Goodbye, Jordan! Goodbye, Milly!" Ms. Sarah says as you go. That was weird. Jordan called Ms. Sarah Ms. Welsh. That wasn't her name. But for some reason, Ms. Sarah seemed to not notice and just said goodbye back to him. It was very weird and made you a bit more uncomfortable. You try to turn back and go back into the preschool, and pull against Jordan's hand, but he just keeps hold of your hand and looks back at you.


"What's wrong Milly?" He asks. "Did you forget something inside?"


"No," you say, still looking longingly back where you came from before realizing you are being silly and decide to go just go along with him. You feel ashamed of yourself for being so scared, you know you shouldn't be, and you wind up just feeling worse as you look to the ground most of your trip home with Jordan. He tries to talk to you a few times, but you just ignore him every time and just keep letting him lead you by the hand as you don't even realize where you are going. Eventually, he says "Ok, we're here," and you look up to find that...
