Biography
Stephanie was the daughter of a highly artistic family. However, like most of the highly successful painters and sculptors, all the members of her family suffered from some form of mental disorder and they were able to become highly eccentric due to their money and earnings. Stephanie was homeschooled, and sexually molested by both her parents, loosing her virginity at 4 to her mother's strap-on and taking her father's penis inside her for the first time at 6.
She became pregnant at 13 with Stella. Her parents managed to convince the doctors she had been sleeping around with boys on her own as she seemed to have that sort of personality, and Stella was born safely. After this, her parents got her on birth control, but when she forgot to take her pills for a while she got pregnant again at 17 with the twins. Her parents had certainly taught her the mechanics of sex, but she had never recieved a lot of real sex education. However, by this age, she learned how wrong what her parents were doing really was.
She decided to take her daughter Stella and ran away while still pregnant to the twins. She had discovered Mahogany Hills through some rumor about a backwards rural place that refused to allow any material regarding sex, and felt going to the the opposite extreme on the subject of sex was a good idea somehow.
No-one in town would welcome an unmarried mother in the town, but by this point she had learned enough painting skills of her own and was using her parents' connections to sell her paintings. Although she ran away from her parents, she still maintains a perfectly friendly connection with them and meets them at the art shows she goes to, often leaving her daughters behind at home as she neglects to get them a babysitter or anything of the sort.
She knows her own upbringing in regards to sex was abnormal, but she has fairly little concept of what normal is and figures for the most part that if this town allows it then it must be fine. She also has a poor idea of what it means to be a parent, she only really knows parents are not supposed to have sex with their kids like her parents did with her. She is used to the idea of her parents not paying much attention to her accomplishments, so she sees no problem with the fact that she does not pay a lot of attention to her own children and lets them more or less raise themselves. She doesn't even get a babysitter for them when she goes out of town to sell some of her paintings.
She was not invited to any of the town hall meetings when the new program was being put in place, and if she were to recieve a punishment note from one of her daughters she would likely just sign it without even reading it.
