“Well, the police usually like to have someone in your situation live with a foster parent who they have already checked out and know will be safe for you to live with. My mom is not registered as a foster parent.”
“I don’t wanna live with your mom, I wanna live with you!” ‘he’ says.
“Well, I’m only 15,” you tell ‘him,’ “I’m still in highschool, they’re not gonna let me adopt you.”
“What!? Common! They have to let me live with you!”
“That’s how the system works I’m afraid.”
“Well FUCK THEM!” ‘he’ yells and then grabs onto your hand. “Let’s not go to the police Xander! Just let me live with you!”
Wow wow wow! That sure escalated quickly. Now she’s asking you to pretty much kidnnap her off the streets. Now you are definitely regretting having set those relationship stats so high, although reducing them at this point would likely only lead to worse results. It probably shouldn’t surprise you that this kid is such a hot-head, or that the 8 year old would throw off a swear word just that easily, her dad was a real bastard after all. She must have gone through a lot. Still, she is attached to you now, and with how submissive she is toward you you bet with a stern word you could get her to come into the police station with you regardless of how much she doesn’t want to go.
What will you do?
- Start coming up with a way to kidnap her as requested.
- Take her into the police as you intended
- Drop your relationship scores with her and let her run off in the rage that is likely to follow
