"No, it's just . . . I don't . . ."
"It's okay," you say, your confident tone covering you uncertainty "I don't want you to feel any pressure. It just felt like we were connecting so well. Maybe I misread things a bit."
"No," she says with a sigh, "no you didn't. I just . . . I'm not good at this sort of thing . . . Hell, I'm still having trouble getting used to the fact that you're sentient. Sex is one thing.
