After all, you get the sense that the sex would be better if you had to look for your opportunity with whoever seems most available and then capitalize on it rather than choosing your target and bending her to your will. Besides, it will also give you more opportunity to experiment with your new powers.
“Alright, I’m gonna re-start time,” you tell Cora. She gives a firm nod and moves a little closer to you, firming her jaw as she looks toward the Holiday kids you brought with you. You look toward them as well and concentrate, and time begins to move again. Their reaction is immediate. As a synchronized group, they all seem to jump backward and away from you and Cora. Jan and July both shriek, March actually topples over Decy, tripping over him and landing flat on his butt, Decy winds up crying, as does Hally who he was holding, and Nove tries to squeeze her way out of the room but her path is blocked by the throng of her sibling’s tangled bodies, and she also starts crying. Octo seems to be about the only one who makes it out of this un-scathed, having been mostly out of the room before this catastrophe happened.
You are pretty sure when you modified Cora’s attitude that you also removed her “creepy” aura, but you guess that seeing a doll just get up and move would scare anyone, creepy aura or not. You just weren’t thinking. It just stands to reason this is what their reaction would be to this.
“Wow! Are you Ok!?” You ask, running over and crouching to help March while untangling Decy from under his leg. You scoop up the kid in your arms and reach over to examine March. It is at this moment you realize you could probably use the admin tools or something in order to remove any physical damage any of them experienced as a result of that fall. You do so immediately, but before you are even done with the process you are surprised by Decy squirming and pushing his way out of your arms and crawling over his brother to hide his face in his stomach. What’s going on? Didn’t you just max out his relationship stats with you? You would think he should feel you are the most safe and secure person in the room.
“Dude!” March yells at you, “How the hell are you so calm!? She! She! She just got up and moved!”
“Yeah! It’s Ok! She won’t hurt you.” You assure him. March begins breathing heavily, glancing suspiciously between you and Cora.
“What?” He says, scooting back rapidly as the girls stay crowded beside you, looking back at Cora. “How can you know something like that!? She! She!”
“It’s Ok, I talked to her, she’s pretty nice.”
“What!?” March responds, “when!?”
“Ahh...” Oh shit! You can’t just tell him you stopped time… or can you?
What do you do?
- Tell him it was some kind of telepathy
- Imply it was her that stopped time
- Open the possibility of filling him in on the truth
- Stop time again and try to figure out a way to clear up this mess
