An overbearing helocopter parent is always in their child's business and will not leave them alone. They will do things for their child, and will not give their child privacy. Children of helecopter parents are likely to either grow rebellious, not wanting their parents in their business all the time, or they may grow dependent and have fewer life skills than a normal person. It is also worth noting that they will be used to people intruding on their personal space. If they are the rebellious sort, that makes them more likely to fight with you if you don't give them the space they need. Meanwhile, if they are the dependent sort, it means they will have weaker boundaries against your approach to them.
