It seems odd to give a description for what should be considered "normal," but it has to be clear where the lines are drawn on this with some categories getting a little fuzzy. No physical abuse does not mean no corporal punishment or physical restraint of any kind is used. Rather, if it is used it is within a very narrowly defined set of boundaries. Corporal punishment such as spanking is more an act of humiliation and dominance than anything that causes pain. In fact, the hit is not hard enough to even feel a second or two later. While something like this could be considered emotional abuse, it is at least not considered physical abuse, at least in the current socio-political culture.

Unfortunately, for the sake of simplifying things, I am going to have to ask you to use your browser's "back" button in order to get out of this page and back to where you were before. The way things are set up, it would simply be far too complicated to set things up otherwise.
