Your first few meetings with Mr. Grandville had been a little shaky, but it seemed ever since you caught his daughter in a compromising situation with her boyfriend and two other students, things had been different. After he was informed of this, Mr. Grandville himself pushed for a punishment category above and beyond the "severe" category of punishment, thus creating the "extreme" tier of punishment, and demanded that such an extreme punishment be applied to his daughter and her boyfriend. Since the results of that punishment, you have noticed your boss' treatment of you softening quite a bit.

Even with all of this, you still find yourself feeling nervous every time you go to ask him for something. It is certainly true what they say about first impressions. Even against your will you still have a hard time shaking the feeling you are going to get your head chewed off just for looking at your boss the wrong way. However, you are going to need his backing in order to start on this new effort to find a suitable pool of assisting staff members. That in mind, you simply push yourself forward and knock on his door.

"Yes, who is it!?" You hear his usual growl from the other side of the door. When you come in, you see his face harden the moment he sees you. "Whatever it is Gardner, I trust you enough by now to assume it's probably for the good of the disciplinary program. Go ahead, it's yours! Just work it up with Ms. Varano."

Well, that certainly makes things less complicated, but...
