sorry I can’t figure out how to do the tagging thing —- nervous

At the top of the text box it has buttons for B and I. In the Talk pages there's also one that looks like an S being written by a pen, that's the signature button. It puts in a -- followed by Notsooldpervert (talk) 23:35, 29 December 2019 (UTC) with no spaces and hopefully that won't change when I post this so you can see the characters I'm referring to. On the main pages, the usual format is to write Request in bold then use those 6 characters for a signature. I haven't found a signature button on the main pages, so you have to write it in. Those six characters get changed to your name with links to your profile page and talk page, and puts a time stamp at the end.
