It's an interesting take on the part of the deal where they "facilitate" his actions. Her talking to herself to answer his apparent need for verbal verification seems a bit of a stretch, but you showed this very well in what you wrote. It is apparent that he is pushing the boundaries of the deal to the extreme. I'm guessing that having her in his room is also a contributing factor in allowing the minor level of interaction that he is able to get from Hannah as well; but if so, he wouldn't realize that until he tries something like it again outside of his room. That might be a way for him to avoid some of the most psychological damaging aspects of the curse part of the deal better than I had originally envisioned. I like the direction you are taking things. --Elerneron (talk) 17:51, 16 February 2020 (CET)

That's actually the exact direction I was going with this. I considered going a different direction with them being completely paralyzed into inactivity when he brings them into his room, but upon further consideration I remembered Sam's little bit about needing a person to actually really like the deal the demon gave them in order to not later turn around and reclaim their soul by breaking out of the deal. So, it would make a lot more sense for Sam's "bonus" of including his room in the deal to be some kind of pressure relief where the effects of his power are weakened just enough that he can get some form of interaction with people so he doesn't eventually wind up becoming too dissatisfied.
