As much as she hated to admit it, going to a tavern to find some help was her best course of action. There she can finally pour her mug down the toilet and be rid of it for good. And if it's an inn, then she can ask if they have any spare clothes. If not, she can either ask a patron for help or sneak into an occupied room to steal something, but hopefully it doesn't come to that. The thought of going there in her state of dress was mortifying, but in her mind she didn't have much of a choice.

Luna made her way eastward, crossing Market Street again, and moved through the narrow alleys and dashed across streets when she came to them in her search. Thankfully her natural elven grace allowed her to keep her tankard perfectly level and steady, letting her move faster without worry of spilling it's contents. However, she was painfully aware of the breeze blowing through her legs and past her privates. Occasionally a gust of wind would kick up and either flip up the back of her tunic or cause the whole thing to billow up and expose her lower half, resulting in her keeping one hand holding down the front as she went.

After a few more minutes of searching as the wind seemingly tried it's damnedest to strip her, Luna found herself leaving the dense, inner city and enter the more spacious outer city. Here the individual buildings weren't packed against each other and instead had sizable gaps between and behind them filled with carriages, wagons, small store rooms, and even animal pens in some cases. And sitting down the road was what she was searching for, a tavern, still open despite the late night hour with light spilling into the street.

She wasted no time in sprinting down the street, keeping to the shadows just to be safe. As she approached Luna saw that the sign out front denoted it was an inn and sized the building up. In the front it was wide, deep, and tall, two floors with a large, sloping roof suggesting a sizable attic. If she had to guess Luna would say this part held the tavern on the ground floor and housed the owners above it. From there the building stretched back quite a ways, undoubtedly the lodging portion of the inn.

Creeping up to the window the young dark elf peered inside and furrowed her brows in confusion. She knew taverns and inns were busy day and night, but this place was packed. Nearly every table had all the seats occupied and almost every booth around the edge of the room was filled. Human, elven, orcish, even a few dwarves, people of all races filled the establishment, most of whom were men. Human waitresses weaved through the tables bringing plenty of drinks, but not much food.

Luna blushed when she saw an orc playfully swat a young waitress on the behind as she passed, startling her, and blushed harder when the waitress merely smiled and carried on as the table cheered.

Aside from all that there was an elderly human man behind the front counter, his hair grey and glasses so thick she wouldn't be surprised if they could deflect an arrow. On the counter before him was a sign showing the number of available rooms, which in this case was 3.

Backing up from the window Luna looked herself over. Her tunic adequately covered her body and to an onlooker it would merely seem she was wearing a small dress showing off a lot of leg with short undergarments beneath. Even with that in mind, though, it did nothing to ease how exposed she felt down below. Then there was her mug. She'd be walking in with a tankard filled with her own piss, and as much as she was embarrassed by the thought of people seeing her urine, it'd look suspicious if she covered it with her hand. Thankfully, as she double checked she confirmed there were no dark elves in there, so the chances of anyone knowing what the purple liquid in her mug was is minimal.

Taking a deep breath she steeled her nerves and entered through the open doors.

Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as she thought. Several curious patrons looked quizzically at the prepubescent dark elf, confused more by her outfit and the tankard in her hand than the time of night, but once Luna gave them a smile (one she hoped didn't look as forced as it really was) they either nodded or smiled back and returned to their conversations. For her first time around a large group of people, Luna would say she was doing alright, merely shaking in the knees a little rather than bolting outside. Even so, she was certain that if she hadn't peed so much before hand she would've wet herself, just a little.

Walking to the front counter she spoke to the aging man. He smiled down at her but his eyes weren't visible through the chunks of glass resting on his nose. A name plate on the counter simply read Smitt.

"H-Hello. Um, I was wondering if I could use your bathroom, please? A-And if you had any extra clothes. I lost my cloak on the way here."

He frowned a little as he responded.

"Oh, I'm so sorry young one, but we can't help you for either of those. We have no spare clothes, and when we're this full we only open the bathroom to guests and staff. Do you have an coin on you? For just 10 copper I can rent you a room for an hour and refund 6 if you choose to leave early."

Luna blushed a little. Not only did she have no money, the question reminded her of how all she had were boots, a tunic, a tankard filled with that which she'd rather not think about, and her cloak clasp. At that last thought it was like a spark went off in her head. She fished out the clasp and held it up.

"All I have is the clasp from my cloak. I, uh, think there's a bit of bronze in it, if that helps."

Mr. Smitt looked at the accessory in her outstretched head. Luna wondered what the simple flower pattern looked like through his lenses.

"Hmm, that could net you a few hours, at the very least, plus a partial refund option like before. But I don't know about bartering with someone as young as yourself. If you insist I'll accept, but if you'd like to keep it then I suggest asking one of my customers for some assistance. Trust me, not many lowlifes are in this part of town, and those that are use a dirty drinking hole blocks away, so you'll be safe in here."

Once again Luna was stuck at an impasse. Either barter away her clasp for coin, a room, and a bathroom, or ask a stranger for help. She would prefer to keep her clasp, not so much out of sentiment as not wanting her parents to ask where it went, but venturing into the busy dining area in her state of undress was not a very appealing option.

What will she do?
