The term Ratkin is a misnomer as to the races true origins, the race is actually a menagerie of rodent sub-species consisting primarily of: Rat, Mouse, hamster and Squirrel. Other rodent hybrids can be found though are not as common.

Ratkin live approximately the same lifespan as humans. The age of maturity for a Ratkin is 18, their average life expectancy is 80 - 100 years.
