God's Compensation/Tell it to them straight
“Hello, how can we help you today?” The receptionist asks in a gentle voice that is just happy enough not to be annoying to someone in pain.
“Ummm.... I think I may be seeing some early signs of schizophrenia and thought I should get checked out.” You tell them.
“Are you suffering from some kind of hallucinations?” They ask you.
“Yeah, I just had a very bad one.” You tell them.
“Well, you should probably talk with Nurology first. If everything checks out there, they will refer you on to the psychology department.”
With this, they point you in the right direction and you proceed on to talk with the Nurologist. Once you have explained your situation, they order some tests. They want to give you an MRI scan, but they tell you they don't know when the machine will be available. The doctor tells you they can get an appointment for you to use the machine in five hours, but that if you want to stick around they might be able to squeeze you in sooner.
