Thanks for the feedback. I’m trying to build up to it a bit more, but this one ended up being really hard to write for a few reasons. There’s a few spots in this one that I think fall a little flat, so I still have quite a bit of work to do on this part. I try not to make such drastic changes after I’ve posted a new story, but this part was a special case. Your initial comment was really great and set light bulbs off. It made me want to expand on the park Visit and at that point, this section got a lot easier to write. When I first wrote it, I just wanted to get the whole first weekend thing over with so I could get on with the rest of the story. I sort of felt like it was more of a filler thing just so that the girl’s lives didn’t end up going off the deep end right out the gate.
