I know we're already stretching what a 5 yo would do (go to the pool alone, read about exhibitionism in the first place, etc), but no kid goes to the pool to sunbathe. They want to get in the water lol Maybe after she wears herself out playing, she could lay down in the sun. A better option would be someone noticing that she didn't use sunscreen and insist on putting some on her (male or female, knowing she's a girl or not).
