Thanks for the edit! In my next entry, I plan for him to get caught talking to (or eavesdropping on) some of the adults or otherwise learning some family secrets. Maybe Uncle Willy gets his chance to do some oversharing. Maybe Jay can learn something interesting about Aunt Clara or Uncle Dave? I will definitely want your input on this part.

I've thought about why the family hasn't got together for a while, aside from just the logistics. I won't reveal too much too soon, but here are all my thoughts. There was another camping trip back when Lizzy was still little, but it ended in disaster. No one will say exactly what happened, but after some pressing, they will reveal it happened after Uncle Andrey had a bit too much to drink. I also want to say Yulia and May are not entirely virgins, and that fact is related to Uncle Andrey's tendencies when he drinks.
