“No, it's fine.” You say, oh and is it ever fine.
“Ok good then, it's settled.” She says. “You don't give Jack a hard time now young lady,” she adds on her way out. “I will just leave the two of you alone now.”
“Yeah, as soon as you're gone he's probably going to rape me or something.” Samantha pouts, “and you don't even CARE!”
“Now that's enough talk of that sort!” Fiona chides. “That is very disrespectful after little Jackie was nice enough to come and volunteer to play the part of big brother for you. You need some serious straightening out young lady, and I am at my wit's end about it.”
With those words, and a brief apologetic glance at you, Fiona storms out the door and stopps just shy of slamming it behind her, leaving you alone with her middle-school “granddaughter” who is currently naked except for an oversize T-shirt.
