Moving deeper into the city Luneiris soon found herself overlooking the market place, also called Market Street, a particularly wide road that started at the docks and stretched all the way to the main square in the center of the city. It was about three times as wide as other roads to allow a steady flow of traffic from the docks and had shops set up along both sides with market stalls filling the center of the street and diving it into two regular sized roads.

Luna was puzzled by all the festive decorations she saw strung up along the storefronts and stalls but paid it no mind as she moved down the street from above, searching for her destination. A few nights back on a previous venture she had passed through Market Street while returning to her secret tunnel when she an odd sensation flowed through her as she passed by several businesses, a feeling that she recognized as one of magic. However, dawn was rapidly approaching and fear of being see kept her from investigating any further.

But this night had only just begun, and as Luna dashed behind a chimney to hide from a guard patrolling the far side of the road she peered around the corner and caught sight of her target, the magical energy radiating from it causing the tips of her pointed ears to vibrate softly. The night after she initially discovered them, rather than explore them immediately she stayed underground and tried to find out more about these magical businesses in Tyerse, being able to gather enough knowledge from some history books and a few inconspicuous questions to get a good idea of what they were like.

First was a brewery, a seemingly normal establishment that actually has a massive underground storage cellar and is famous for a secret magical technique they use during the brewing process to give their beer "special" properties. Next came the pathway leading back to the library, a large, old, multi-winged building that has a wide stretch of green space separating it from the nearby buildings. Supposedly it houses some magic tomes deep within its walls and that there are various secret entrances and hidden passageways that were added on and forgotten about over the decades.

The next two are more straight forward, a tailor and a glassmith that mostly deal with normal items but are both known to have small selections of items with unique, magical properties added during their construction. Following that is a clockwork shop, an odd business with an even odder owner who mainly makes timepieces for adults and wind-up toys for children, but there's a rumor that he has a private below-ground workshop where he's working on some secret project at the behest of the King, which would explain the magic aura Luna sensed. Lastly is an alchemist shop, which didn't need any research into what practices are conducted there.

Like the rest of the city all these locations locked up come nightfall so Luna would have to sneak in somehow, but she would never dare steal anything. For one she was raised better, but also because tipping off the owners would cause patrols to increase and security to be tightened, making it that much more difficult to explore the city.

But enough of that, which business has Luna's decided to explore?
