Opal was happily skipping through the forest, kicking around rocks and whacking at nearby bushes with a stick as she went. The young girl was dressed in a well worn pair of blue jean, plain yet durable sneakers, and a plaid purple flannel shirt (a gift from her Uncle Ivan). She wasn't wearing a bra since, despite having recently developed a sense of modesty, her prepubescent tits haven't grown at all, but was wearing a simple pair of pink panties.

It was late in the day in early summer, her nanny, Trish, had gone home for the day but her father and uncles were still hard at work, hoping to get an early start this season so they wont need to rush before the snow sets in when fall arrives, or so she's been told. So here she was, too bored to stay at home by herself yet to busy at the worksite to play with her family, leaving nothing but the nearby woods to explore. It wasn't unusual for her to do this, so long as she stays within hearing range of the power tools the loggers were using and came back by dark, and she hadn't yet had to opportunity to see the forest this past spring.

Even though the summer heat hadn't arrived yet it was still rather warm out, so in addition to having her sleeves rolled up to her elbows she unbuttoned the top few buttons of her flannel, exposing more chest then you'd expect of a girl her age.

Stepping into a small break in the trees Opal looked up towards the sky. Even though the sun was just barely starting to set the moon was hanging low in the sky already, just above the treeline round and full. She never really understood why the moon appeared during the day and means to ask her dad, or maybe her Papa Saul, sometime but keeps forgetting.

Looking away from the moon Opal walked back into the trees hoping to get another hour of daylight before heading back. So lost in thought was she that she didn't even notice that the ground abruptly sloped down off to her left, only becoming aware once whole body fell off balance and before she knew it she was rolling downhill.

"Eepp!"

She let out a squeal of surprise before quickly curling into a ball and covering her head with her arms and hands. This wasn't the first time she fell down a hill so she knew what to protect from past experiences. Thankfully though she didn't hit any rocks, trees, or poison ivy patches (again), but she did plow through a bush and failed to notice her shirt got caught on it, forcing open the buttons down to her navel. After a few moments the disheveled girl tumbled to a stop at the bottom of the hill unharmed, lying on her right side.

Realizing she stopped Opal slowly uncurled herself and looked around, failing to notice how her shirt slipped off her right shoulder and exposed her perky little nipple to the fresh air. Looking at the incline she saw that it wasn't too steep nor too tall so she could climb back up easily enough, but there wasn't anything to hold onto so if she slipped she'd fall right back down. Turning to look where she fell, however, all she could do was gasp as fear started to pulse through her veins, her arms shaking and legs feeling weak.

What is it Opal found that frightens her so?
