Sally couldn't put her finger on it, but something about the chatroom message looked a little off. She decided the resort site would be more reliable and tried that instead. As they said, it had photo gallery, but that wasn't really what she was interested in. The only thing she thought notable about it was that it mainly had pictures of whole naked families, rather than just kids like the ones on the last page. She hoped that didn't mean she couldn't be a nudist unless she convinced her parents to go naked too.

So she started poking around the site looking for answers to this and other questions. First she found a FAQ page. It confirmed the resort welcomed naturists of all ages, which was already pretty clear from the pictures, but beyond that didn't have much to say about kids, so she looked a little deeper and found a forum.

At first Sally was tempted to try and set up an account and ask a whole bunch of questions, but from her limited online experience that could be a pain, and she'd also have to be patient and wait for answers. So she just started looking at what was already there. She was delighted to find a "young naturists" section and started looking through that immediately. Most of the people there seemed to be teens, and more knowledgeable than her already, but she did find a few "newbie" questions that were right up her alley.

There was a boy who whose family was moving to a naturist resort full time, and he was asking some of the same things she'd wondered about school. It was at a different resort so nobody knew for sure, but everybody thought he'd probably still attend regular school wearing clothes. So maybe nudist schools didn't really exist. She wasn't sure if she should be disappointed or relieved.

Then there was a girl who said her parents wanted to come to the resort but she was afraid to get naked. Most people were sympathetic and agreed her parents shouldn't make her if she didn't want to, but they also said she should give it a fry and find out if she liked it before rejecting the idea. Wow, imagine being told you had to go naked if you didn't want to. For some strange reason Sally found that thought exciting. But on a more practical level, a number of replies pointed out that the resort was clothing-optional, so it would be OK if she did keep her clothing on.

That was good news, Sally thought. It meant she could be a nudist even if the rest of her family didn't want to. Hey, actually, didn't that mean the top floor of her house was "clothing-optional"? That seemed like a fun way to look at it, and she wondered if she could convince anyone else to give it a try. These thoughts were interrupted as she became aware of voices downstairs. She couldn't really make out a conversion but she wondered if someone had come over. She briefly considered getting dressed, but she reasoned that if anybody was here, her parents would either keep just them downstairs or let her know first, so she got back to her reading.

This one looked interesting. "The Boner Question". Yes, Sally knew what that meant, girls talk on the playground too after all, but she hadn't considered it in relation to nudism before. Sally was just thinking about how funny it must be when boys get erections and can't hide them with clothes, when she got quite a start.

"Jesus, Sally! Have you just given up on clothing now?"

For a second her mind flashed back to her concern that someone had come over, and now they walked into her room! But she quickly realized it was just her brother. He shouldn't have been so surprised though.

"Yeah, kinda. I'm a nudist now! Well home nudist. Upstairs. Our parents said it was okay!", she said.

"Holy shit, a nudist? Are you kidding me?", he asked.

"But Devin, we—", she started.

Devin put his finger to his lips for silence and whispered "They don't know I know."

Oh right. Sally tried to remember what exactly she'd told her parents that morning and repeat it. "Yeah, really. I've always hated wearing clothes, but then I found out there was a name for that and I wasn't just weird!"

"Wow, so you gonna be naked all the time now?", he asked.

"I guess, yeah. Well, like I said, only upstairs.", she said.

"Right, well, speaking of that, mom said to get dressed and come down to lunch... I assumed you'd still be wearing your nightgown at least! But there's your message.", he said. With that, he left and closed the door behind him.

Sally knew he was just playing along... or at least she hoped so, but she opened the door again on principle, before she even started getting dressed.

She heard her father laughing downstairs, and then when he stopped, "I can't believe you sent him up there without warning either of them.", said Ryan.

"Well why not? If she wants to be a nudist, she can get the full experience.", said Ava.

As she got dressed, Sally wondered if that was like a test or something. If so she thought she passed. She finished putting the clothes from that morning back on, still sans panties, and went down to lunch.

Tacos! Devin was talking to their parents, and pretending to be shocked by "the nudist thing", but Sally went straight for the food.

She was still listening though, and relieved to hear he was being more or less supportive, saying things like "It's so weird, but I guess if she really wants to do that..."

Once everyone was served, the family had their first chance to discuss Sally's new lifestyle with everyone present. She still insisted she found clothing a burden and was happy to be able to spend more time naked. And no one raised any major objections. Sally wanted to show off some of her latest knowledge and asked if the upstairs could be considered "clothing optional". Since no one had ever said Sally had to be naked, and no one else wanted to be naked, this seemed like a moot point, but Ave agreed that it was, indeed, clothing optional.

And so, that became the new status quo in the Sorenson household.
