Frank knew delusional rambling when he heard it. Goodness knows he'd heard enough of it in the shelters on the east coast. That life was something he hoped to leave behind, but there are crazies everywhere, he figured. Hell, small towns might be even worse for all he knew. He also knew it was mostly useless to try and talk sense into people like that, but he couldn't resist trying.

"Right, yeah... interesting backstory, but do you really think it's safe for her to be out here... uh, dressed like that?"

"Safe? Why would it be unsafe? Maybe in the big city people see things differently, but here we all look out for each other, even people like us."

"You're telling me, a kid could just walk naked down Main Street and nothing bad would happen?"

"Absolutely."

"I guess you and Sally'd knew best. I hope you're right." Frank had to admit it sounded nice, but he wasn't she where delusion ended and the reality of small-town life began.

"It's true. People think I'm weird but nothing bad has ever happened to me.", said Sally.

"Alright, well last question I guess. Why can't you just wear normal clothes... like the ones other people can see, I mean. If this place is so friendly, surely someone would be willing to get you some."

That was a good question, and Otto's story didn't really explain this, so Sally fell back on something close to a nudist viewpoint. "Yeah but... they're too uncomfortable, and I don't see the point. The clothes I have now are fine."

"So, do you have more of... your kind of clothes, or just what you're wearing?"

"Oh sure I have more. You can't just wear the same thing every day."

"Can I see them?"

Otto laughed. "I don't know, can you?"

Frank laughed too. "I guess that was a poor choice of words. Can you show them to me, Sally?"

"Uhh, sure, why not." Sally hadn't really this far ahead. Where would she keep the rest of her magic clothes or whatever... She was supposedly staying with Otto, so somewhere nearby presumably. She looked around, and finally had an idea. Unfortunately it would require getting up. Sally would have rather remained seated where she could at least keep her most private parts hidden, but if was going to stick with the story she couldn't admit being embarrassed to walk around in front of them.

Reluctantly, she got up and walked a short distance to a tree, trying not to think about the two men who were probably staring at her butt. "Here they are!", she said gesturing to a low-hanging branch on nearby tree.

"Well, I guess that's not too surprising. I can't see those either. Can you describe them to me?"

Sally kept her back to the men, not wanting to expose more than she already had, but she knew she might not be able to keep that up much longer if she wanted to be convincing. She pretended to take some things down off invisible coat hangers, and looked over her shoulder. Otto was grinning and somehow she didn't mind him as much, but Frank's expression was hard to place. She found it unsettling and didn't think she liked him too well. She decided to describe her real clothes so she wouldn't have to make anything up. "Here's my green jacket, here's the long shirt I use as a nightgown when it's not too cold, and this is my favorite skirt because it's pink with a cute dog on it. But it's kind of fancy so I don't have a reason to wear it very often."

Otto remembered having seen something like that in a magazine. "Hey, I can almost see it. It'd look really cute on you.", he said.

Frank agreed. "Yeah! Won't you model it for us? You said you don't get to wear it much, and I'd definitely like to see!"

She should have seen this coming. Now she's have to show more of herself for sure. She had another idea though, it was silly, and it would only delay the embarrassing part for a minute or two, but made perfect sense. "Umm, I can't change my clothes in front of you; you'll have to turn around."

Frank looked incredulous, but Otto readily agreed. "Of course.", he said. "Be a gentleman and give her some privacy, Frank."

The two men turned around. Sally suspected Frank would have cheated, if not for the fact that Otto was now facing him. She ducked behind a bush to "change". It really didn't provide much coverage, but it felt like the right thing to do.

She didn't bother to act out changing her clothes, since she could see both men were still looking away. She wasn't looking forward to coming out and facing them, and what's worse, that weird tickle in her private place was back. She wondered if Otto and Frank would be able to tell by looking at her. Randall could apparently, though he was looking really close... It occurred to her that with the men's backs turned, this would be a good time to sneak away... if she wanted to do that.
