Jack sent a glare towards his colleague, who wore an impish grin on his face. The three young men standing outside the door numbered 375, were dress in standard-issue blue-grey maintenance uniforms. Jack and Kyle were each carrying a bag of tools while Bart, nicknamed Cy-Bart for his cybernetic eye and arm implants, was checking the logs on a holographic screen emitted by a projector in his right wrist.
"According to the message left by the homeowners, they just need a check-up on the sonic shower systems. The house should be empty, but they warned us that they have a teenage son who should be with friends but may stop by and a little girl who might just now be getting up, but they assure us she won't be trouble."
"Just a check-up? Why did we bring our gear for this?"
"Because Kyle, the procedure is the procedure, now give the door your I.D."
Kyle rolled his eyes at Jack as he approached the touch screen by the door and dug his maintenance team badge from his pocket, holding it out to be scanned. A few moments later, the door slid open, and the three men entered.
Almost immediately, the men noticed a faint humming noise after the doors closed behind them. They looked at each other in disbelief.
"You don't think..."
"The message mentioned a daughter should be getting up soon, and we are ahead of schedule..."
"Well, boys, there's only one way to find out."
"Heh, what did you just say Jack, try and act professional?"
"You staying by the door?"

Jack and Kyle quietly set their bags down as Bart put his implants on silent mode, and the three men crept through the quarters and around the corner, slowly peering into the open bathroom. All at once, three sets of jaws fell open at the sight before them. Having completely forgotten about what her parents told her and Devin the previous night, Sally was right in the middle of a sonic shower, blissfully unaware of the audience she just gained.
