Her name is Kelly, Kelly Bishop. As her mother is filling out the paperwork, she has already dug into the toys you have arranged for her to play with. She regularly comes running back to the table where you are with her mother to report the various toys she has discovered.

"That's great," her mom says, "but Kelly, I'm trying to do some important paperwork right now." She informs her daughter, shooing her off. "That girl is really energetic," she reports to you. "She can be a handful, I hope you can handle her."

"Don't worry," you say, "I've got a few ideas on how to handle some of her energy, and I'll give her a good punishment if she misbehaves too badly."

"Do you use corporal punishments here?" She asks, "I can't ever get her to sit still long enough for a time-out, you might wind up having to just give her a good spanking."

"I'll use my best judgement at the time," you tell her, "Training in childcare includes several good techniques for punishment and behavior adjustment, although it's always good to know when there is parent approval for some of the more controversial methods."

Ms. Bishop seems satisfied with this answer as she finishes up the paperwork, and promptly leaves with Kelly being left in your care. "Kelly, I'm going now, I will pick you up at the end of the day." She tells her daughter on the way out. "You behave for Mr. ___," she says, "and do whatever he tells you. I told him he could give you a spanking if you misbehave, so you'd better do what he tells you. I don't want to come back here and hear that you've been making problems. Are you listening to me Kelly!?"

Kelly lets out a simple "Yeah" while hardly looking up from the toys she seems rather engrossed with. When her mother lets out a sigh and says her goodbyes to you before leaving, Kelly looks up for a bit and seems to examine you for a moment before going back to the coloring books she was getting out.
