Biography

Kathrin never knew her biological mother. While growing up all she learned was that her mother had committed a very bad sin and his father had saved her. Still, as she grew up she noticed how his father looked at her, and how his face would turn into a scorn when he didn't think she was looking. This made Kathrin very self-conscious, associating her foreign looks to the sin of her mom.

It didn't help that her step-mother treated her more like a servant than as a daughter or friend, even if she was only 6 years older than Kathrin. All in all, life at home was not too pleasant for the young girl.

As she grew up, though, she started to open herself. It helped a lot that many of her classmates would constantly say how beautiful she was, and at least 3 of them tried to properly court her as she entered high school. Unfortunately, her father forbid any of those courtships without an explanation, and shortly after her 15 birthday, he informed she would be marrying Coleman Kraham so he could win the election.

Kathrin hated the idea, but she was all alone in town, with nobody to help her. She even considered ending her own life, but she knew that would send her straight to hell. It took some weeks, but eventually the girl accepted her fate, and even nurtured a small hope that she and Coleman could fall in love.

But that was not to be. Kathrin couldn't see Coleman as anything else than her dad's friend. She didn't even had a chance to have a chat alone with him before they were married. What finished any hope about the relationship blosoming was her father last remark as he helped her into the matrimonial carriage: "Coleman needs a family to win, so be sure to fulfill your duties and give him a child before the election."

The sex was a chore. Kathrin felt violated when the older man undressed her, took her purity and finished, leaving her to clean up. Worst was, she had to allow him to do it over and over during the following months, until thankfully she started showing symptoms of pregnancy and was able to stop.

Her first pregnancy was haven of peace. Sure, her body was doing weird things she didn't understood or wanted, but at least both Coleman and her father were happy and left her alone. In those nine months, Kathrin decided she had to take control of her life. She could not go against her father, but she could find ways for him to be happy and left her alone. She also decided the child in her belly had no blame for her father's and husband's actions. She would not be like her own mother and abandon it, no matter what, she decided to be the best mom she could.

Things worked out fine after Lori was born. Kathrin managed to focus on doting on her newborn daughter, and as long as she appeared like a proper wife along with her husband, she had a lot more freedom than she had ever had before. With her husband elected, he spent most of the time in the office, and she had time for herself.

Even denying sex to Coleman started out easy. A simple excuse was enough for him to stop asking, and for a while she hoped she would never had to endure that again. Her father had other ideas, though. Apparently Coleman told her father about her refusal, and Leopold had a stern talk with her, stressing her duties as a wife and threatening to take away her daughter if she didn't behaved like a good wife.

Kathrin relented, and the awful sex resumed. Once more she felt she was losing the small degree of control she had over her life. It was then that she met Mariette. It was a lucky encounter. Kathrin had gone shopping, but had stopped on a back street to cry while hugging her baby, knowing she had to go home and have a smile for her husband as he used her body.

Mariette happened to see her and approached. Usually Kathrin would have tried to hide her tears, but the old woman knew something was up, and before long Kathrin was crying on the woman's shoulder, explaining the hell that was her life. Mariette listened to her and convinced her to call Coleman and explain she was late with shopping. To Kathrin's surprise, Coleman didn't argue, and didn't even asked what had happened when Kathrin joined him in bed much later at night.

By the time Kathrin learned of Mariette profession, she already knew the woman was willing to help her. And while knowing her friend was a whore did scared her, she had to admit she was a good woman first and foremost. It was thanks to Mariette's advice that she managed to reduce the number of times she had to have sex with Coleman to just the minimum to avoid him going to her father. And also it was thanks to Mariette that she avoid getting pregnant again. Who knew her periods had something to do with getting pregnant? She was skeptical when Mariette explained, but she couldn't argue with the results.

Over the next years Kathrin focused on raising up her daughter, and enjoying life in the interims of her duties as the Mayor's wife. Once, Mariette suggested her to leave Mahogany Hills, but that was too much for Kathrin. How could she survive on her own? And with her child on top of it? No, she was happy enough with her life.

Things turn a sudden change 8 years ago. One day as Kathrin was carefully leaving the brothel after her weekly tea time with Mariette. Just before reaching the back exit, she found herself face to face with a shirtless man. "Kathrin?" asked the man, and Kathrin's blood turn to ice. If her husband or father discovered her friendship with Mariette it would all be over! The shock was such that she passed out on the hall.

She woke up in a bed with Mariette and the man looking over her. Mariette had to calm her down, assuring her everything would be fine. The man was a factory worker and would not say a word, in fact, he hadn't recognized her as the Mayor's wife, but as his old high school crush. He was one of the boys that had tried to court her all those years ago.

Kathrin wasn't sure how things moved so fast, but less than 2 months after that chance meeting, she was screaming in pleasure under his high school crush in one of the beds of the brothel. After years of dull and painful sex, discovering how pleasurable it could be was eye-opener for her. Her high school crush also loved it, but they both knew they could never be together, and both accepted their weekly reunion as a gift.

Hading her affair from her husband was an easy task with the help of Mariette. Hiding the fruits of her affair growing in her belly was a bit harder, but as usual, Coleman didn't ask questions and apparently believed he was the father with the same ease as everything else.

Kathrin could have taken measures to keep her womb safe, but decided not to. Both her husband and father where elated with her pregnancy, and knowing she was carrying the fruit of her lover made her feel great. Her third child would share the same father as the second, and Kathrin hoped she could have many more, each one a treasure for her, her reason to keep moving forward.

Public Relations

Barbara Granville

As the wife of the Mayor, Kathrin is "officially" the first wife of town, and as such should be the head of the Housing Committee, Church Group and others. But for the most part those titles go to her step-mother, Barbara Granville. Kathrin doesn't care, she has no interest in those things and the less she sees of her step-mother, the better.
