Biography
Along with the mayor’s wife and the deacon’s wife, Barbara feels she’s one of the first ladies in town, and puts a lot of work in being a role model for all other women in town.
Barbara has always been a dedicated wife and mother, accepting her husband’s indiscretions in the brothel as something natural that all men have to do, but sure that she was not neglecting him. While they haven’t been intimate for a while now, she’s not worried, since he’s also have no reason to return to his whores.
Barbara shares his husband belief that the community’s values are under attack and that something must be done to preserve them, and as such she was a fierce defender of his husband’s new rules, using her influence in the parents association to ensure the new program was accepted.
She has raised 7 children, and while she’s sure she did everything in her power to make them grow straight, she’s sad that her oldest two decided to leave town.
